My Senior Year |
Today |
About-Baker: I participated in the High School Chorus. This was the most rewarding activity - the combined voices could send chills through the members of the chorus as well as those listening - especially when we sang "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" in Atlanta.
What I enjoyed most is a difficult question to answer. I guess the best way to answer is to describe the sense of "family" that everyone had during those days. As I look back through my yearbooks and recall my friends, acquaintances, and teachers, there is such a feeling of warmth that words can't describe.
After-Baker: Since leaving Baker, I've been blessed with four children (2 girls, 2 boys), 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grand-daughters.
I worked as a Business Manager in a chemical dependency hospital for a good number of years, owned my own typesetting company for 5 years, and have worked for the Internal Revenue Service for the past 10 years as a Management Assistant.
Well, we finally made it back to Georgia. We moved to Woodstock (North of Atlanta) last fall and it's great to be here!!!
I retired this year (2004). It's true, when you retire, you wonder how you had time to work for a living! (heehee) I hope to get around and visit many of you. In the meantime, y'all come and see us!
