I was in the DCT program for two years. Most memorable Baker moment was graduating.
Married in 1960 and we had four children, which I raised as a single parent from 1970 to 1983 at which time I married Suzanne Sledge. Together we have seven children. I worked for many years as a projectionest for the Bradley and Plaza Theatres as well as working on many film productions in Georgia and Alabama. Have been with King Productions of Tampa, Fla for 22 years, working as Designer/Director of concert lighting throughout the states and Canada. Am retiring within a year (1999). I still make Columbus my home and Suzanne will be teaching Special Education in this area. Our hobby is flying our small plane. LATEST UPDATE: I retired in 2000 but still work a week or so, once or twice a year. Last year, Suzanne and I bought a house in Phenix City. We live there most of the time, but still have a house in Columbus. My wife is a spec. ed. teacher at Carver and since last year we are caregivers to her Mom and Dad, who live with us. I still fly when I get the chance and also keep in touch with several 58 classmates. E-mail from Baker Bums is WELCOME...Scott Whitley 58
