Contact information for Barbara Baker Lions onlyAbout-Baker: FHA,Girls Rifle Team,Tri-Hi-Y,Student Council & Class officer. I always loved school. The best part was all the friends, learning was the second reason to go to school. I would even cry on the last day of each school year.
After-Baker: I attended Columbus College and Columbus Business School. I married and we had a son (Michael) and a daughter(Alice),and both are married. In about 1969 we moved away from Columbus to Jonesboro, Ga(SE of Atlanta). Later moves brought us to Florida. First working in Jacksonville and living in Orange Park, later to St.Petersburg and in 1979 to Tallahassee. I worked for 10 years in school social work and then for 15 years with the American Red Cross, where I retired 12/99. I'm now happily married to Tom Brandt. He is from MI., so we spend winters here in FL and return to MI for the cooler summer weather. We have 3 GRAND kids, two in Fl. and one up north that we enjoy spoiling.
