After-Baker: Graduated from Paschal High in Fort Worth, Tx. in 1961. Graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1966 (BA). Received advanced degree from University of South Carolina in 1977 (MLS). Was on the faculty at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. from 1969 to 1978. Was Medical Librarian at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx. from 1978 to 1980. was Reference Librarian, then Associate Director of Library, University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth from 1980 to 1991. Am Executive Director of Libraries, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Tx. (1991 to present). Married to Amy Black Wood since 1974. We like to travel.
