Jesse Lawrence "Larry" Johnson, 1965 |
My most memorable moment at Baker was meeting my wife (Patricia A. Gorman, also Baker Class of '65) on April 27, 1965. On May 14, 2006 we will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
I served in the U.S. Army 1965-69, served with the 14th and 223rd Avation Battalions in Viet-nam 1966-67.
I Received a B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Columbus College (now Columbus State University) in 1975.
I worked at various chemistry related jobs in the coal industry in Kentucky and the aerosol industry in Atlanta before beginning my Government career at the U.S. International Trade Commission in 1978 where I am now the senior analyst for explosives and related products.
Married to Patricia Ann Gorman (also Baker Class of '65) on May 14, 1966 in Franklin, NC. My wife owns her own business.
Our son, Michael, graduated from Capitol College in Laurel, MD with degrees in electrical and computer engineering. He now lives and works in northern Virginia.
I like to fish and play golf. Hope to be on the senior tour some day (not bloody likely, mate), well, maybe attend some tournaments.
