About-Baker: As a card-carrying member of the Wallflower Brigade, I participated in no sports, clubs or activities and achieved no awards or recognition. However, I did survive Mrs. Nell Coan's World History class and there's something to be said for that.
After-Baker: I had always anticipated a career as an artist and, since 1965, I've worked continuously in different areas of the graphic arts industry. My grown daughter carries on the tradition as a graphic designer in Atlanta. My free time is devoted to reading and gardening, an interest I began as a farmer's wife in Washington State.
