About-Baker: Band - Freshman and Sophomore ROTC - Freshman Golf Team - Senior DCT - Junior & Senior My most memorable moment was when the announcement was made on the PA system during English class that President Kennedy was shot someone yelled out, "it's about time"!

After-Baker: Attended Columbus College for 2 years and was Capt. of the Golf team both years, 66 - 67. 67, Left college to become Asst. Golf Pro at Columbus Country Club 68, Left Columbus Country Club to become Head Golf Pro at Sand Hill G.C. at Fort Benning 70, Left Sand Hill after getting a letter from President Nixon, I think it was called an Induction Notice. Spent 2 years in the US Air Force as an electronics tech. the last year supporting the Apollo Program at Cocoa Beach Florida. Returned to Columbus in May of '72 in time to become Asst. Golf Pro at Bull Creek when it opened, later to be Head Professional at Four Lakes on Blackmon Road and Manager of Cindo Golf Shop. 74, Left Four Lakes and opened and Ad Agency later to open a print shop that eventually evolved into Nix On Time Printing where I am today. We are not only a full service commercial printer, but do marketing & communications of all kinds including internet marketing with building & hosting web sites for small businesses. Married to Linda Pecora Nix and we have 2 sons, Daniel McMahon & David McMahon.
