Connie Boyer (Grier), Class of '66

I was involved in several of the choral groups. My twin, Bonnie was a majorette. I also had a sister, Shirley, who was on the drill team.

I moved to Montgomery, Alabama with my family in 1988. I married, had a daughter, divorced and remarried here in Montgomery. My daughter, Holly, is now 25 years old. I have one grand-daughter, Alexandrea (Lexie) Kirby Moore who was born January 14, 1996. I am really enjoying being a grandmother.

I have worked in the Mayor's Office in Montgomery for almost 17 years. (Republican) I have also worked in many, many political campaigns on all levels. My 2nd husband and I have been married 7 1/2 years. He is the Fire Chief in Montgomery. We are looking forward to attending the 30 year class reunion in August.

I have become accomplished in French sewing and really enjoy sewing for my new granddaughter. I am a member of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery and sing in the choir.

My granddaughter was christened at Frazer on Mother's Day this year in the french sewn gown I made for her several years ago. (Before my daughter Holly was even thinking about marriage.)

I hope to eventually retire from the City of Montgomery and go into some type business I can run out of my home.

June, 1996
