The summer after my junior year I graduated from Turner Private in Columbus. In October 68 I married Elton (Taylor) Gordon. We have two sons, Taylor III and Troy. I have three beautiful Granddaughters. After 20 years in the Army, we retired and Taylor started a new marketing career in the aviation industry. In 2002 we took the plunge into retirement again, this time from Boeing. Boy is life different now--bit of a challenge. We're living along the intercoastal waterways of Georgia south of Savannah. Taylor spends his day fishing, shrimping or golfing and I spend mine coping with the "Downsize Syndrome". This has been the hardest move we've ever had. Could be the "aging" thing but most likely it's just the result of the "too much stuff" thing. Our oldest son is Business Manager for Great Southern Publishers and lives in Bruswick, GA just 30 minutes south of us. Our youngest son is a medivac pilot in the 101st. He has participated in both Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently depoloyed to Iraq for the second time. I pray for his safety everyday. I'll just thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed upon my family and will continue to be in His service.
