Henry Land, Class of '70

I was in the band, played trumpet. I was on the wrestling team. Junior and senior years I was in DCT. My most memorable Baker moments were cruising the Krystal and the Sock Hops. I also went to the Gator Bowl one year with the band.

After Baker I joined the Army for 3 years. I then completed my B.S. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology at Columbus College. I married Carmen Arias in 1970 (divorced 1990). Have 3 grown daughters. I am now supervisor of the Clinical Chemistry Section of the Laboratory at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning . I have been in the Civil Service since 1979. I remarried in 1995 to Teresa Smith (former Jordan grad). I now live in Harris County, Ga. I enjoy exploring with the computer. I hope to retire with Civil Service and start another carreer.

October, 1997
