Janice L. Lyda (Craver), Class of '71

About-Baker:

After-Baker: I attended BHS my freshman, sophmore, and most of my senior year. My family was stationed in Germany my junior year and a small part of my senior year. It was great to come back to Baker in December of 70 unannounced and surprise my old friends and graduate with them. I missed out on reunions due to communication, but was excited to plan on attending the 20year reunion but had to cancel at the last minute as my Dad died during that time. I sure do miss him. I have been married for 29 years to a wonderful man, he's my partner and best friend. We had a daughter, Jackie, 26, she is married and a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son, her husband is currently in the Coast Guard, and she teachers tap, jazz, and ballet. We also have a son, Jerry Jr.,22, he is married to a wonderful lady (i call her our flower child), they are expecting their first baby (a boy) in October. Jerry presently works at Nutrasweet with his Dad, his wife is about to graduate to be a school teacher, then Jerry will finish his degree at Clemson in archetecture. My husband has worked for Searle and Nurtrasweet (all owned by Monsanto) for about 20 years. I am a bookkeeper at an elementary school for l6 years, I got my start working in Mr. Boyles office my senior year. Please keep me updated on upcoming reunions. I would love to see and hear from old friends.
