Toni Lynn Wolfe, Class of '80

I really enjoyed my senior year. I was a Dandylion and I had a blast. I also treasure all of my years in chorus and the life-long friends I made. Thanks to Facebook, many of us have been reunited and are having a blast again.

What did I do after high school? Like everyone, I have been busy. I attended Columbus College (now CSU) before starting my career in television and radio news.

I worked for WTVM Channel 9 as a part-time news photographer, and WRBL TV Channel 3 as a full-time photographer. I later left to do an internship with Georgia Public Television in Atlanta where I worked as a reporter and news anchor for a "The Lawmakers," a daily show covering the state legislature.

After that legislative session, I came back to Columbus and worked for WDAK/WEIZ as a news reporter/anchor before moving to WCGQ/WRCG radio to anchor the morning news. In 1985, I moved to Atlanta and worked in radio news until 1990. That year I was laid off and decided it was time to move to a more normal life ;-) in public/media relations. I joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as a media and public relations specialist. In 2000 and after 10 years with Georgia Tech, I moved into corporate communications.

I have two sons, Michael and Christopher. My youngest is now in high school - class of 2016. I can't believe it! I may just make it. ;-)
