Monica Jackson, Class of '91

About-Baker: At Baker I was one of the quiet ones. I played softball one year, other than that I hung around the crew. Most of all I was into my books, trying to maintain my A-B average. My most memorable moment was my senior year with Mrs Carter one of the sweetest teachers baker had. This was the year that Marlon got hurt and the football team had jerseys saying "THIS ONES FOR YOU MARLON" and the girls borrowed their shirts and wore them to school. This was a sad time but Marlon made it through by the grace of GOD. Also our senior skit when the guys dressed as girls going down the soul train line. we were terrible.

After-Baker: Upon leaving baker I didn't do to much, I made some bad choices in life. I let a lot of time slip through my fingers before I realized there was more to life than hanging in the streets. I have one son Jermaine Jr. I have dedicated my life to GOD, totally sold out to him. Single. I have a full time job as a front end manager. My ambition is to still go to school and take up something while I have the chance. What I enjoy the most is going to church serving GOD. Living for him.
