Dear Fellow Lions:

As most of you know, the Baker High School Alumni Association awards a $1,000 college scholarship, annually, to the child or grandchild of a current dues paying Alumni Association member. (Alums returning to college are also eligible.)

The following are the requirements for applying for the 4th Annual $1,000 scholarship:

1. A recent photo
2. Resume from the student
3. Two recommendations from teachers/Principal/guidance counselor
4. High School Transcript

All applications must be postmarked by July 1, 2006 and mailed to:

• c/o Glenn Wells
• 8924 Heiferhorn Court
• Columbus, GA 31904

The requirements for someone going back to college, or starting long after High School will be:

1. Current photo
2. Latest transcript
3. Up to date resume.

Very important: Applicants must be a current dues paying member of the Alumni Association or be the child or grandchild of a current member. The applications that belong to Non-Members will not be considered.
