Dorothy Cheatham July 29, 1925 - April 3, 2002 COLUMBUS, GA Mrs. Dorothy Cheatham, 76, of Columbus, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at The Medical Center Hospital. Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2002 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with visitation following. Mrs. Cheatham was born July 29, 1925 in Livonia, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Donnie Smith Radford. She lived in Columbus since 1961 and retired from the Muscogee County School District with over 25 years of service. Mrs. Cheatham was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Cheatham. Survivors include her four sons, Richard A. Cheatham, Nathan W. Cheatham, Spencer R. Cheatham and Thomas E. Cheatham, Jr.; one daughter, Emily Ann Hart; two sisters, Nan Broussard and Judy Harris; a brother, Charles Radford; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
